Such a fancy-ass title, no?
Anyway, I thought I'd make use of my 1 week remaining premium membership to write y'all a farewell/heads-up of my long, indefinite hiatus here at the beloved site where I spent four good years.
Also, junior year in college is about to start next week and anyone who's anyone knows that junior year is like a bottleneck era that filters out those who are and are not worthy to graduate.
On top of that, I've also been recently elected as our department's student organization secretary. Paper work is crazy but I love what I'm doing anyway because I write, and I art. A lot.
(For those of you unaware, I'm an advertising arts major. I will soon take over your consumer habits. Bwahaha!)
So this journal entry is different from the usual class-is-about-to-start-so-imma-get-my-arse-off-the-compyuder-nao entries I've usually posted before (both as Quiiver and TheCrazyDragon).
This is kind of like a final, no-turning-back, I'm-leaving-but-not-deleting-this-profile-because-I-have-friends-here kind of entry. Also, I'm not deleting this profile because then you wouldn't be able to read this. Durr.
I'm sure most of you have seen this coming sooner or later, what with the dwindling amount of new deviations I've been posting. But that's just how things go, I suppose.
And I bet you're wondering about my title, eh?
Well, let's just say I'm expanding in terms of (no, not weight you dickwads) life and artistic explorations. I've been trying--unsuccessfully--to cram myself into digital painting. I'm not going to abandon that drive entirely. I'm just going to go ahead and try other things to see if anything else fits.
Philosophically, I feel like I'm trying to jam my foot into a size 4 because I don't know any better that I'm actually a size 9.
I'm going off to chase wider horizons.
It's been a great run, you guys.
